Jacob Wager is pursuing his M.S. degree in Applied Ecology under Dr. Craig Allen. Born and raised in Nebraska, Jacob has worked at Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in North Platte facilitating private land and Farm Bill programs. His research focuses on insectivorous bats in Nebraska and if cedar tree encroachment has caused a habitat extension into the Sandhills, as well as how fire affects bats’ use of the environment.
